Building your business sales system via social network
When you start your own company, you needs to enroll it, finish research and development of your product, last but not the least, you must publish it to customer and manage to complete the deal. Usually the last shot means money or nothing.
Since it's year 2012 and we both in a information times, we found many big companies establish and maintain a official website to display their products and even sell them. Bingo, Apple has its famous apple store for both iPhone 5 and iOS softwares. In 2010, Apple's iTunes store (including Music, App and iBooks) has a 4.1 billion USD sales. Besides, many companies have similar websites call B2C (business to customer).But it's a cost thing to maintain your website, our mainland people always have a lot to share when it comes to Ministry of Railways' tickets sales system. It's cost 330 million RMB but leaves too many questions, such as hard to login in not to mention buy your ticket when spring festival. It's a nightmare!
As for your startup, your wants to promote your products with the least many, but how? B2C costs too much but we have C2C. You may argue that C2C platforms like Taobao and Yahoo auction sell a lot but do nothing in promoting your brand. But how about social network systems like facebook and sina weibo, which have a great scale of customer foundation. Here a very successful example.

It's easy to start your own business free and efficient via social network. First, You need to register a sina weibo. It's a very simple thing as soon as you have a email.
What you need is apply for a new ID for every staff and certificate your blog.
Second, you must create a official group and publish your products. Then your team can manage to do the daily thing of business. You must pay close attention to customer's interest and give monkey what they need.
Kuaishubao is a platform just like a website of 7-eleven. It promise to deliver what you book form their website in just 1 hour. It must respond more quickly than any other sales system. Luckily, social network win!
Last, you need to enlarge your field. Actually many customer just use a search engine like Google or Yahoo to find what they want. Let's take the very famous search engine Baidu as an example.
So you now have a direct knowledge the power of social network in daily life. By the way, Kuaishubao has a very huge sales and earn its second round of venture investment already.
When you run into startup or wants to promote your products free and efficiently. Maybe social network is the best choice.

Get your point. Social network, like Weibo, could definitely provide the companies like Kuaishubao a new business model to promote their market share among the dominating companies in that area, and also lead to an alternative way to lower the cost in operating a relatively large service and advertising platform. However, I still believe the success of Kuaishubao primarily comes from its insightful delivery method, rather than its choice of using Weibo. Most of people, IMO, would still prefer the services provided either by office website or phone-service center. Weibo doesn't sounds like a reliable way with enough privacy after all.

Kuaishubao has good concepts with user experience and social media, but it's still too early to say whether it will survive. According to Xu Zhiming, the Founder of Kuaishubao, he had loss five million on it and expected it will not make profit until 2014.
回复删除Under the over heat competition environment of E-commerce area, I'm not optimistic about the future of Kuaishubao.
Anyway, it's a good example of application on social media.
We can't decide whether there is a big future about Kuaishubao. But the usage of social network here is a very smart way.

Although Kuaishubao has no gain so far, but I believe it will succeed in the future, because the founders know user experience and social media well.
